Hi I am Noah Stephens of Co. L 302nd Inf. 94th Inf. Div.  I have not seen anything or any one on the web site from the 302ond or Co, L surely some one looks on sometime would like to hear from any of the men from Co. L that was cut off from the Co. and held the obseivation point for seven days we held out and killed 150 Germans  troops and were reported mlssing in action we all recieved a Silverstar medal from General Maloney except pontoon sergant Petery  who got a  Distinguished Service Cross we were cut off from 16th Jan, 1945 to 27th jan. 1945 the ciation said 7 days but I think it was 11 days some of the men were staf.sarg.Cargnia sarg. casey and T sarg petery add wilson, warren, harmen, williams. noah Stephens, these men came out alive I know some I cannot remember

My father, Major C.P. Scudder, Jr.  (d. Dec 1970) was the 94th Division's Dental Officer until about March 1945 when he was sent to England to a hospital. After the war I remember visiting with a retired Col (or LCOL) Swope who was living in Monterey, Ca. at the time. I believe Swope was the Division's Medical Officer but not sure. Anyone remember this? Scudder, Swope, Pierpont and possibly Zwicker were in and about Div HQ so maybe I'm not too far off.

Just discovered something that might help some of the people looking for "official" discharge info on fathers, grandfathers, uncles, etc. of the 94th or any other division. Check with the local county auditor's office in the county/state where your relative was discharged. In Washington state at least, the discharge paper was filed with the county auditor. I had finished restoring some photos for my dad, Clint Bland (F Co. 302nd) and we were talking about the people in the photos when we got out his discharge paper and I noticed it was filed with the county auditor's office. You guys must really have enjoyed  the reason for the discharge --- 
on Dad's it says: Convenience of Government! I have to smile at that --- 
Anyway, this is a place for some of those reaching dead ends to try.

I Served In The 94th Div In Europe Under Gen Patton Throughout WW II.  Before This While I was in the Army In The U.S. I Kept A Daily Diary Of My Activities As A Private During My Basic Training At Ft. Benning And Later When I Joined The 94th In Mississippi.
     I Made Daily Full Page Entries In My Diary For 7 1/2 Months Starting 20 October 1943 And Continuing Until I Went Overseas With The 94th. 
     I Have Typed The Information And Made Up A Booklet With The Information In It. It Is 96 Pages (Typed).  If You Or Anyone In The 94th Organization Would Like A Copy Of It I Would Be Happy To Send You One At No Charge.
     I Still Keep In Contact With My Army Buddies. I Was A Member Of The I & R Platoon Of The 302 Nd Reg't And Have Sent Each Member Of My Platoon A Copy Of This Diary. Many Of Them Are Reporting Back To Me How It Brings Back Old Memories To Them.

My dad was in the 94th Inf. Div, and he is convinced that he was in the Battle of the Bulge.  I have researched the divisions that participated in the Battle, but could not find the 94th listed anywhere.  I've also read the book, "Patton's Ghost Corp," about the Siegfried Switch Line, and it compares the heroism of the 94th in this operation to the Bulge, and points out that history hasn't given proper recognition for those that served there. 

Please settle this matter if you can.  Dad is 84 now and he has never mentioned being in the Bulge until the last few years.  I apologize for my ignorance, but if anyone can let me know which companies. etc, of the 94th served in the Bulge, please let me know.

My grandfather was Russel E. White, a second Lt. rifle platoon leader in the 301st infantry, 94th division. He died in 1973 so i never had the pleasure of meeting him and would like to know anything about him during world war 2. He entered service in 1943 and went overseas in Feb. 1945. If there is any information on him i would like to know to share it with my family. Thank you.

He was killed in action on Feb.24 1945 and our family was wondering what happened to him. If you happen to have any information or input as to where I may acquire information, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm hoping someone might be able to provide me with any information, recollections, or other sources of information regarding my uncle Bob Slater.  He was in the 94th, 302d, 2nd Bn., F-company, and in Joe Alvarado's platoon.  He and a man named William McElroy were members of a BAR team when he was wounded on 1/26/45 while assaulting Sinz near Tettingen.  He died a week later in a field hospital.

I am trying to piece together as much about his life as I can as we have very little information about him and what he did.  I know that he was also close to Chaplain (Capt) Edward H. Harrison of the 302d 2nd Bn. also.  Bob used to play the organ at the church services at 2nd Bn.

I have a few pictures of Uncle Bob and a number of photos of other men from his unit, a few letters and such, but little else.  I'd be happy to exchange copies of any with others who might have known him.

Any information about him or what his platoon, company, or regiment was doing in the days leading up to his death would be very greatly appreciated.
