SUBJECT: Information on my father & his outfit

My father was Pfc. Clarence M. Fossitt who served with Co.L 301st Inf Regt during WWII. I would like any information on him or his outfit. I would like to correspond with anyone that knew him. My father died when I was quite young, so I never got a chance to talk to him about his service time. He died in 1964 from a farming accident. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Subject: Information on my father

I would like to find out how I could get information on my father, Carl J. Byron Jr. He spoke of being in the 94th, and I inherited his uniform after he died. He also was transferred at the end of the war to G-2, to translate. I never learned more than this from him, but I would be interested in his service. If anyone can help, feel free to contact:

Subject: 919th Field Artillery Battalion

Hello -  My Name is Edwin Gilcher (Cpl).  I served in the 919th Field Artillery Battalion, Headquarters Battery during the entire campaign in Europe.  I wonder if there is some way to get in contact with other members of this unit?

Thanks your help.

Subject: Information on John Hunolt

Hello,
I am looking for information about the 94th, My grandfather, John Hunolt, served in the 94th, I wanted to know if anyone knew him, and if not if anyone could give me insight as to what his job was like or what life was like in the 94th.  My grandfather passed away 3 years ago and never said much about the war.  If anyone could tell me how to get more information I would appreciate it.
Thank You.

Subject: Information on George L. Smith

I am trying to learn more about where my grandfather, George L. Smith of Alexandria, Indiana, served in WW II and talk with anyone with whom he may have served.  All I know is that he was a staff sergeant in the 94th Infantry Division and was wounded in 1945 and awarded a Purple Heart.  He passed away in 1994 after a long bout with Alzheimer's.  Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to really discuss the details of his involvement in the war due his illness.

Any information you could provide me, I would be extremely grateful.

Best regards,
Rob Smith da87911@gateway.net
