My name is Tina Dean, I have been trying to find out more about my Grandfather. William E. Northrup PFC. I was sent your web page by another that I contacted. I see that no date of Death is listed on your page. Grandpa's Purple Heart has May 16, 1945 listed.

I was wondering if there is any way to find someone that may remember my Grandfather? My mother and her siblings were very young when he left. If you would be so kind to send anything that may help in our search I would be grateful if you sent it in an E-mail.

My name is Dave Toste and I was just wondering if you knew my dad, George Toste, from Pawtucket, R.I. or if you may know someone who served with him in the 94th Div., 376th Regiment, "E" Company. My dad was elevated to a staff sergeant because of the number of casualties inflicted on his Platoon/Regiment.

I'd like to hear from you either way. You men were all so brave and yet none of you spoke a word about WWII. I know it must have be terrible and may have been better to be silent, but a son like me would have loved to hear somethings, but I never did because my dad passed away in May 2000 at age 77.

You guys had class.

Dad passed away several years ago and never really told us much about his days in the 94th. my brothers and I are veterans serving during the vietnam war and would like to know more about the 94th. Thanks.
